So if any of ya'll are like me..im always listening to other station around the country..all different formats trying to come up with new ways to position our brand...Make our Image stronger..tighter..more effective to the listener. I came across this YouTube video of David Foxx..he is the Creative Services/Imaging Director for Z100 in NYC!!! Market 1!!! I loved some of the things he had to say...gonna try and implament some things here in Charleston. Anyways i thought that i would share this with ya'll..its worth watching the 10 minute video...FYI..this video might contain some images that might not be appropriate for children...lol...but i think its something that we can all draw something from...Anyways just wanted to throw it out there...And express my sadness for not being able to make to the OD summit this week. Celebrating Moms All Month Long

Gentlemen,

As part of a Mother's Day promotion we did, I had Meffert produce some "post" promos that can run through the end of May. These are independent of the promotion itself, but utilize calls received during the promotion.

Promos and Stuff

Wondering if you have any WAY-FM.com-related promos you're running currently. We have one that's a bit stale (and frankly, one I never fully understood), but are about to go back to the drawing board.

Before Katie or I reinvent the wheel, we just thought we'd check to what see you guys were running currently.

On WAYM, we're running Facebook and Twitter-related proms (they've been rotating with the WAY-FM.com promo). On WAYQ and WAYD we're running Facebook promos only (not doing Twitter in those markets). And on WAYW, we're running neither (just the WAY-FM.com promo).

Any help or idea starters you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks.

Google Reader vs. feedburner.google.com

Gentlemen,

If I can get access to the back end of the blog (beyond just posting privileges), there's a good chance I can add a widget that will provide a feedburner link you'll be able to click on to automatically receive updates to the blog via e-mail. This is the request Tate made in last week's OD meeting. You can see it in action at the top left and just under the header of my own blog (http://thejeffbrown.me).

Personally, I use Google Reader. It aggregates all the blogs I read into a single interface. Rather than manually surfing to the over 100 blogs I read, each time one of them adds a new post, Google Reader brings it to me automatically. Adding a new subscription in Google Reader is as easy as copying and pasting the URL into the "Add a Subscription" field. Here's what the interface looks like (click to enlarge).

Some WAYJ Stuff

I think JD is right - I don't think it's possible to post audio files with Blogger. (side note: You can post audio files - and just any other type of file you can download - in Typepad.) If anyone knows a Blogger solution, that would be cool.

Any way, I'm uploading a few things into the OD folder on the exchange that we're running here currently that may be able to be tweaked for others.

This batch I have a newer Business Impact Partner spot we're running (in the spirit of the Geico commercials) and a few World Vision concert spots that we've written and produced locally. Shoot me an email if any of you want scripts or work parts or anything from these.
